Kara Morkovsky

Mrs. Morkovsky currently oversees 5 multifamily apartment communities totaling 1,364 units in San Antonio and Austin. Mrs. Morkovsky has over 23 years’ experience in the multifamily housing industry, which includes new construction, conventional, managing operations of a Midrise, repositioning, renovations, and student housing. Kara Morkovsky began her career in property management in 1998 with SCG Realty which became Archstone Communities and had the pleasure of working with both fee managed and owner managed companies such as Equity Residential, Lincoln Property Company, Concierge Management and currently on year 5 with Portico Property Management. Kara also served as an Advanced Certified Field Trainer and Mentor for her past employers, where she was able to help demonstrate her passion for employee success and career advancement. In 2017, Kara was honored to be part of the SAAA Leadership Lyceum program leading her to be nominated and selected to be on the 2021 SAAA Board of Directors. Mrs. Morkovsky has a strong background in property renovations and repositioning, acquisitions, dispositions, team building/leadership, customer concentrated satisfaction ratings as well as high attention to detail in regards to overall property performance.
