FREE Senate Bill 38 Webinar

David Fritsche will present a FREE webinar on December 16, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. covering the newly revised eviction process for cases filed on or after January 1, 2026. SB38 is already in effect for these filings, and the Texas Supreme Court issued 46 pages of new eviction rules on November 21, 2025.

Overview:

David will review the revisions to the TAA lease that take effect on January 1, 2026, including the new workaround language intended to help avoid rollover days for Notices to Vacate.

He will also explain the SB38 provisions that attempt to circumvent the CARES Act’s 30 day Notice to Vacate requirement and discuss the practical question of whether JPs will follow that section of SB38.

Most importantly, David will outline how to identify, avoid, and navigate the key “gotchas” in SB38 and in the newly adopted eviction rules.
