Ambassador Committee

Being an Ambassador helps you get a foot in the door at the property level. The Ambassador committee provides feedback to the association by conducting surveys through person to person interviews at member properties. They also promote SAAA events and programs. During the meetings committee members exchange industry information about changes occurring at properties, whether it’s a new owner, management company or staff.

"I believe to get the most out of your membership with the San Antonio Apartment Association you must participate! We expanded our operations into San Antonio just a couple of years ago. Since then, my work with the various SAAA committees and events has made all the difference. In a short time, I've made a ton of friends and earned some great customers. Participate! Be an Ambassador! (I've heard that committee is really cool!!!) lol"

– Bobby Bridwell, Arbor Contract Carpet, Ambassador Committee Chair, PSC Council Member

Welcome Committee

Share your professional experiences with new members. The main objective of the Welcome Committee is to help guide members through their first year of membership. New members receive a welcome call from a committee member and will also see committee members wearing a Welcome Ribbon at mixers. When new members see the ribbon, they know that this committee member is more than willing to introduce them to a couple of people. The Welcome Committee is also at the New Member Orientations to help answer questions and of course make everyone feel welcome!
