Responsible for all management functions of the Association including staff and direction of all activities as prescribed by the Board of Directors. Monitors city and local government activities and proposed ordinances, while actively participating at state (TAA) and national level (NAA). Serves as liaison to Nominating, Bylaws, and Budget and Finance Committees, as well as special task forces.

 

Director of Communications & Marketing |  Kimberly Pipes  |   kimberly@saaaonline.org

Responsible for the production of all publications including the bi-monthly Residence Magazine and Annual Directory & Buyer's Guide. Oversees all association branding. Manages and directs all social media platforms, as well as website and information. Produces promotional and marketing materials for programs, events, education, membership and government affairs. Photographer for SAAA events.  Serves as liaison to the Product Service Council.

Director of Professional Development  |  Jennifer Feeler  |  jennifer@saaaonline.org

Responsible for professional development programs and associated committee activities.  Liaison to the Education Advisory Council, Outreach Committee, NextGen Committee,  American Red Cross and Operation Blue Santa fundraising campaigns.

Maintains and oversees all Association accounting and finance functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger and Financial Reporting.  Prepares annual Operating Budget with Executive Director and serves as liaison to the the Budget and Finance Committee.

Responsible for the development and implementation of Association government relation activities and involvement. Coordinates aspects of political involvement including but not limited to election activity. Serves as liaison to Government Affairs Committee.

Plans and administers membership activities including recruitment of new members and retention of existing members.  Liaison to the Membership, Ambassador, Buddy and IRO Advisory Committees. Coordinates the 100 Club Fundraising Campaign.

Works with Government Relations Director to develop and implement  Association government relation activities and involvement. Coordinates aspects of political involvement including but not limited to fundraising, grassroots programs and PAC management. Serves as liaison to the PAC.

Manages and directs all planning aspects of Association events & meetings- delivering exceptional networking and business development opportunities for all members. Works in coordination with all SAAA departments on committee input for meetings and special events. Liaison to the Programs Committee.

Responsible for administrative duties in support of Association members and SAAA staff.  Responsible for Accounts Receivable and performs invoice collection; assists Director of Finance with accounting duties; provides exceptional customer care to all members and fellow staff members.
